Each year, thousands of country music fans descend upon Nashville, Tennessee to attend CMA Fest. The festival showcases country artists of varying statuses, ranging from newcomers to superstars, performing on different stages around Music City. The festival features country artists of all statues, from newcomers to superstars on various stages around Music City.

In 2023, the four-day event hosted an estimated daily attendance of over 90,000, a 12% increase from 2022, according to the Country Music Association. Additionally, the nightly concerts at Nissan Stadium saw 10% growth from 2022.

The lineup for CMA Fest 2024 is stacked with superstars and buzzed-about newcomers.

Always the hottest tickets in town for CMA Fest, this year’s Nissan Stadium stage lineup includes Kelsea Ballerini, Brothers Osborne, Luke Bryan, Jordan Davis, HARDY, Jelly Roll, Cody Johnson, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Ashley McBryde, Parker McCollum, Megan Moroney, Jon Pardi, Carly Pearce, The War and Treaty, Thomas Rhett, Keith Urban, Lainey Wilson, and Bailey Zimmerman.

Are there any free events or performances at CMA Fest?

Those who do not want to purchase tickets can enjoy free shows and activities throughout the festival. The free stages include the Chevy Riverfront Stage, the Dr Pepper Amp Stage, the Chevy Vibes Stage, the Reverb Stage, and the Hard Rock Stage.

Several other unofficial CMA Fest events take place during the week in and around downtown Nashville.

Where does CMA Fest take place in Nashville?

CMA Fest takes place all over downtown Nashville, specifically near the famous Lower Broadway. The daily concerts take place at the Chevy Riverfront Stage at Riverfront Park, the Dr Pepper Amp Stage at Ascend Park, the Chevy Vibes Stage at Walk of Fame Park, the Reverb Stage, which sits at the corner of 5th Avenue and Broadway at Bridgestone Plaza, and the Hard Rock Stage outside of Nashville’s Hard Rock Cafe. Additional daytime concerts take place inside Music City Center at Fan Fair X.

The nighttime concerts occur each evening at Nissan Stadium. These shows are highly coveted, featuring performances by the biggest names in country music every night of the festival.

This year’s festival will also feature nighttime concerts at Ascend Amphitheater, taking place on Thursday (June 6), Friday (June 7), and Saturday (June 8). These shows will feature a diverse lineup of artists and each night is themed. Additional details can be found by clicking HERE.

What are the best hotels near CMA Fest?

When attending CMA Fest, it’s best to stay close to downtown where all the action takes place. This will allow you to walk to to nearly every event, which will save a lot of money on parking and transportation. Some hotels that are near the downtown area include Margaritaville Hotel Nashville, Omni Nashville, The Westin Nashville, and Hilton Downtown Nashville.

How do I attend fan club parties during CMA Fest?

Some artists host annual fan club parties for members of their respective fan clubs. To obtain access to these parties, you must join the individual artist fan clubs. It’s important to note that not all artists have events for members of their fan clubs, so be sure to research before joining.

Starting in 2006, a portion of the earnings generated from CMA Fest has been directed towards supporting music education initiatives that benefit students in grades K-12 throughout the United States, facilitated by the CMA Foundation.
