Laine Hardy has made it clear that he is still actively pursuing music and working towards releasing some new tunes, but unfortunately, he, like many other hopeful artists, has found himself struggling to keep up with the financial aspects of his career.

In order to continue down the path of pursuing his dreams, Hardy has reached out to fans, asking for a bit of help through a new GoFundMe page he started called “Get LH’s music out!”

Attached to the GoFundMe page is a message that reads, “Hey y’all Laine Hardy trying to raise funds to record music in studios, pay for travel expenses back and forth from Nashville, and use money raised to promote my music by touring. It’s a dream I’ve always had and I need y’all to make it come true.”

He went on to assure all those donating that the money would solely be used for “anything and everything music” including music production, instruments, DAW software plugins and studio equipment.”

I’m grateful for any donation,” he wrote in conclusion.

So far, the American Idol alum has received 17 generous donations that add up to a total of $1,866 towards his goal of $100,000.

This serves as another example of Laine Hardy’s continued efforts to be open and honest with fans about his struggles, mindset shifts, and aspirations for the future since coming off Season 17 of the singing competition show.

In his most recent Instagram post, Hardy shared a series of live shots from recent shows alongside a message to fans detailing his new, positive outlook on life.

He wrote, “Looking forward to this next chapter of my life. I’ve learned to just simply be grateful for anything, good/bad, positive/negative. It shapes you from who you were to how you were to how you are to who you are now.”

The Louisiana native also expressed how his faith has played a significant role in providing him with a sense of comfort as he embarks on the next phase of his musical journey.

“Gods word became a crutch for me throughout this process & it will stick like glue forever. He loves & accepts everyone, I’m no different than any of you. He’s a prayer away! All of my praise goes unto him & glory always to Him for my success before, now, and hereafter. (Ephesians 6:10-18) Also Isaiah 28:16,” Hardy said, concluding the message.

Laine Hardy has yet to announce a new project or unveil a release date for any new music, however, he’s been dropping plenty of hints on social media through snippets of unreleased tunes and promising words that imply he’s been working on a new batch of songs.

“To be continued…” he wrote on a post in June alongside a photo of him sitting on a couch next to an acoustic guitar

So far, Hardy has teased unreleased songs such as “Songs About You,” “That Man,” “Me Meeting You,” “Party I Can Play,” his latest snippet, “Rope Swing,” and more.

“Rope Swing,” a reflective romance ballad was co-written by Laine Hardy alongside Jordan Minton and JT Harding back in 2019. Fans got a taste of this heartfelt song through a clip that featured the rising singer/songwriter sitting on a porch dressed in his camo shirt, blue jeans and rubber boots.

“If I could go back I swear that I would / it happened so fast but it was so good / summertime kiss as sweet as honey / cinnamon legs right on the money / I was hanging on you / you were hanging on me / we were tangled up together under that oak tree / a little Led Zeppelin and your tan bare feet / I’m holdin’ that memory like you were holdin’ that rope swing,” he delivered on the chorus.

Once released, these new songs will follow his debut album, Here’s To Anyone, which dropped in the fall of 2021. The album, produced by Michael Knox, features 11 tracks, including “Memorize You,” “Tiny Town,” “The Other LA,” and “Let There Be Country.”

Through his latest post, it appears that Laine Hardy has been making appearances at various live shows, however, he currently has no upcoming tour dates on the books.
