As a former member of the U.S. Navy, Zach Bryan never hesitates to show his support for those who have and currently serve their country. The country singer proved this once again when he appeared on stage at the Auburn Rodeo with a “good friend” dressed in a full Military uniform, who he revealed had just re-enlisted in the Navy earlier that day.

In a video circulating TikTok, fans captured the moment his friend Cameron Tyssen stepped on stage in Opelika, Alabama with a prideful smile on his face as the crowd loudly chanted “USA, USA, USA.”

Bryan stepped up to the mic and introduced the man standing next to him, saying, “Hey, this is my good friend Cameron Tyssen. He’s an ET-2 (Electronics Technician) in the United States Navy and he re-enlisted today.”

This immediately evoked another round of congratulatory cheers from the audience as they celebrated the news.

Tyssen then took his turn to share a few words of gratitude. He started off by sharing his love for Bryan and his crew as well as all those who continue to pack out his shows each night.

“Howdy. Thank you all for coming,” Tyssen began. “Zach, you did such an amazing job. Honestly, I can’t express how grateful and thankful I am to the whole crew and everyone here being such a good crowd to him.”

The man went on to say a few final words and raised his arms up to the crowd, prompting them to scream even louder than before as he made his way off the stage.

“If I can say anything, it’s mama, I love you, God bless the country, God bless America, and God bless the United States Navy baby,” he said in conclusion.

Both Tyssen and the “I Remember Everything” singer later took to their own social media feeds to post a few highlights captured throughout the weekend.

Bryan’s post included a photo of him with his arm around his friend and a caption that read, “Thank you for letting me reenlist you brother. Go Navy, congrats ET2.”

Meanwhile, Tyssen wrote “dreams come true” while holding up his Certificate of Reenlistment as he stood in between Bryan and another member of the Military.

Zach Bryan was an active-duty member of the U.S. Navy for seven years and during that time, he developed his craft for songwriting in his spare time. Then in 2021, he announced that he had been honorably discharged, and officially left the Navy to become a musician.

Once he returned home to Oologah, Oklahoma, Bryan’s passion for music finally got that chance to soar. He began uploading music to YouTube, which led him to become the artist we know today who sells out nearly every show with fans fighting for the chance to hear his gritty vocals and traditional country spirit.

However, despite the fact that he has joined the ranks of country music stardom, it’s evident that Zach Bryan will forever hold onto his background and experiences in the Navy.

Throughout the summer, Bryan has continued to give his all to his flourishing music career as he made his way through his wildly successful Burn, Burn, Burn Tour. This sold-out trek, which kicked off in May and ran through August, marked his first-ever arena tour.

Next up, he will embark on The Quittin Time Tour in 2024. This trek originally offered a whopping 42 shows, and once again sold out within minutes. This sparked outrage among fans who weren’t lucky enough to score their tickets in time.

As a result, Bryan took to social media on Monday to announce 19 newly-added dates, including three nights in Los Angeles, a stop in Nashville, and back-to-back nights in Brooklyn.

In addition, he shared a message with fans addressing the “ticketing issues” that many revealed they are experiencing when attempting to purchase tickets to his concerts.

“I do feel like the ticketing issues are insane, I am sorry and in that we added more shows to the tour to try and curve demand,” The country music sensation wrote in a caption alongside the just-added tour dates.

Bryan went on to show his appreciation for his fans and ensure that they feel his gratitude for their incredible support of his career.

“I don’t want it to be lost on me or anyone how grateful and indebted I am to every single person who listened and listens. I am trying my best in this life and also to make the shows as great as I can to the people I love most; yall,” he said in conclusion.

Bryan’s 2024 tour will be in support of his fourth full-length studio album, Zach Bryan. The self-titled project was written and produced solely by Bryan and features 17 tracks including his duet with GRAMMY winner Kacey Musgraves, “I Remember Everything.”

Upon its release, the collaborative tune became a hit among country fans and earned both artists their first-ever Billboard Hot 100 last month.

Joining Zach Bryan on The Quittin Time Tour will be a variety of special guests on select dates, including Jason Isbell and the 400 Unit, Turnpike Troubadours, Sheryl Crow, The War and Treaty, Mt. Joy, Sierra Ferrell, The Middle Eat, Matt Maeson, Levi Turner, and SunDown47.
